Rule of Life

A Rule of Life is a shared rhythm of practices that orders our lives around abiding in Jesus and participating in His Kingdom. It is not legalism. It is training in grace. It is not adding pressure but removing chaos so that formation can occur.
Biblical formation is the Spirit-led process by which a person learns to live continually before God, with God, and for God, until God’s presence becomes the governing reality of their thoughts, desires, habits, and relationships - its then you start to look like Jesus.
Our Rule of life is about becoming a people who:
• Abide deeply - Reliant
• Live honestly - Real
• Love generously - Relational
We have linked the nine practices to our three values as a church: Reliant, Real and Relational. Below is a summary document of each value and the three practices we are encouraging our church family to participate in. Remember this is a hopeful invitation not a crushing obligation.
